Keep Munday Beautiful

Founded in July 2002, Keep Munday Beautiful (formerly known as Making Munday Proud) is a dedicated civic organization committed to the beautification and revitalization of our city. As an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful, our focus is on creating a cleaner, more vibrant community for both residents and visitors.
Our Impact
Keep Munday Beautiful’s efforts have garnered state-wide recognition, earning the Governor’s Community Achievement Award in 2004 and 2007 for our population category. Each award included a $65,000 grant from TxDOT, totaling $130,000, which was invested in landscaping and improvement projects around Munday.
Some of our initiatives include:
- Demolishing condemned structures to revitalize land for new uses
- Transforming vacant spaces into attractive community assets
- Promoting beautification through city-wide cleanups and landscaping projects
These projects not only enhance the appearance of Munday but also foster a sense of community pride.
